My name is David Im 26 and Im from Illinois.. I currently own a 80 warwagon mud beast, 64 impala (in the process of a frame off), 98 camaro z-28 (lookin to trade for a t/a) , and a 05 tl. Im looking to get a early 70's T/a but any year really will do.

Hi, guys, I guess that it's time to go ahiead and post a message, as I have been lurking for some time now, reading a lot of great posts, getting a lot of good info on restoring my 77 SE TA.  My name is David, from Danville, VA.  I am in the finishing stages (hopefully!!!) of a frame off restoration that started April 23.  It's a black/black Y82, 400, 1st generation Hurst T-tops.  I am going strictly original with my restoration, getting lucky on finding some parts, still looking for others.  Headed to Charlotte on Thursday to see what I can find at the Fall show.

Hey Rich, I'll be in Newport News this weekend, if you are cruising by the Marriott City Center, blow the horn at me!

Welcome David to the 78ta family.  Glad to have you aboard and like Jeff suggests, post up some pics of that poncho, we'd love to see it!

Seriously, you going to be around Saturday night or Sunday?  I think I could swing by the Marriott and shake your hand.  It's 15 minutes from the house if it's the one I think it is.  PM me if you think you'll have some time, I'll bring the TA with me.  Also, there's a show Saturday night that my club puts on not far from there.  That's another option as well if your not busy.  Like I said, PM if your interested.
