It's really starting to ake shape now. This is the fun part.

I'm anxious to see how that steering wheel grip repair holds up as mine has a spot that could use some touch up.

Last night I installed the shifter and the interior rear side panels & sail panels
Thanks!

Charlie,
That's part of the fuel vent system that was use only for a few years on early Pontiac's.

It was also used on 68-72 A bodies, Buick, Olds, Pont and Chevys.

I installed the radiator, fan shroud, and condenser assembly along with a few other bits & pieces on the core support, New Year’s Day.  Pat

I was able to use the original condenser mounting bracket in place of the new ones on the new condenser.

The new front light wiring harness didn’t come with the Split loom so I installed new split loom and reused the original unions I found some plastic clip that with a few cuts look like the originals

The original hood latch that was restored by Bill Oxley & Craig aka Norwood

The original charcoal fuel vent system cleaned up nice

The rearview mirror also cleaned up nice. I hope to have my side mirror back from the engraver with the date code this week?

Truly a top notch work... is the brake booster and master cylinder cap painted or is it plated? I don't seem to see the green/reddish tint that plating would have

Pat,  did  Bill do you booster and cover?

Sir, the proper plating for a 72 is cadmium and it is much softer than the Zinc that was used starting in 73.The internal parts on  Pats hood latch are  Cadmium .  I have done latches with both Cad and Zinc, the cad still has the tint but is much softer than the zinc.

Yes Bill Oxley rebuilt and replated the original booster as well as a few other items for me and all of his work is 1st class!
Thanks!
