I order a drives door decal with my Vin# and the weight of the car. As there was no decal on the door when I bought the car I had no reference for the weight. What the seller used for the weight seems high? Anyone know if this is the correct weight?
Thanks!
Pat

Hi Pat, I'm quessing that would be very close if not correct. I just when and looked at my 78 TA parts car and it is 4693 and my other 79 TA doors I have say 4720. I would assume that your 72 might weight alittle more than the later years. ???
P.S. AWSOME CAR! ;)

I color sanded & polished the right fender and installed the side vent. I had to use a few washers on the bottom studs to get a flush fit with the fender. Also installed the inter wheel well before hanging the fender on the car as per NJSteve’s method worked great. Thanks!

Looks sweet, did you have both the fenders installed or only the RH one is on now?

Too bad you weren't closer to Frederick so I could come check it out! Defiently will when you complete it though.

No name for the car as my wife might be suspicious to all the late nights in the garage. Lol

Just the right side as I need to color sand the left fender
Thanks!

Wow. This is trully phenomenal work. And with HASA-levels of cleanliness, too! Great work. Reading this thread is always an inspiration.

I hung the left fender and align it with the door, no chips or scratches and it fit great! I hope to get the nose on today after I color sand & polish it.

The car is absolutely amazing.  You must be getting anxious getting so close to the end.
