I have to admit I have always been a fastback mustang fan. That one looks like a winner!

I hate you!!!

This car looks stunning. was your nose that straight on the sides or did you have to have it reworked? I noticed mine is a little warped on the sides and would like to attempt to have good gaps too.

Rick,
I spent a lot of time fitting the nose to the fenders before paint and it paid off! When you  start on yours PM me and I give you my cell # and I’ll walk you through fitting the nose.
Thanks!

Doug,
Yes, but not on the on the same level as the T/A. 1st it will not be original; Kurt would like to paint it highlander green like the Bullitt car. And we will upgrade the brakes, steering, & suspension for safety. We are going to paint it and do all the body work as well as all the other work. This will be the 1st car that we will paint, and Kurt gets to do all the hard work, that’s the only way he will appreciate it! So far he has his life saving in the car and owes me 4k. The deal we have is I will pay for everything that makes it safer and he pays for the car and all the cosmetics! Plus he can never sell the car EVER!
Thanks!

Thank you all, from Kurt!

Ok, enough of that Mustang stuff back to the Pontiac stuff! I got the 1st seat belt label samples and they are close but we are making a few changes, like the model # & date code will be a lighter shade of black and some alignment adjustments. The paper/fabric is very similar and I’m going to have one stitched on one of my old belt as a test.

Here's a set of '72's I have with the original tags.  Just a FYI in case yours are missing or faded out.

It looks like you have a mid/late year built 72 as you have the retraceable belts. My 72 has the 71 type belts, and the model # are different. Thanks for the pictures!

I have a sign shop that we use for the name & ports as well as the custom teak side name board for the yachts we sell, and they did it as a favor for me.
Thanks!

Only put a few hours in the T/A this weekend. I put the grilles, valence, and center spoilers on. Question, what is the correct headlight for a 72 T/A?
Thanks!
Pat

BOY DOES THAT LOOK GOOD!!!

I can't help you with the correct headlights issue but I've seen some NOS headlights pop up on e-bay sometimes.
