Haven't checked in for a while here and am catching up. That thing is a MONSTER man............It's absolutely BEAUTIFUL..............

And thanks for the heads up on the glass. The mechanics on my windows are worn smooth out, and my side window glass is all scratched up. Now I know where to get replacemnts.

The thread that just keeps on giving.

I bought some repro wiper arms & blades from Muscle Car Industries and they look and fit great!
Pat

I used a drill bit in the hole on the side of the wiper arm base to hold the spring open to help align the arm to the shaft.

This is where you adjust the arms to their lowest point when in the park position.

Today finished all the under dash A/C duck work, glove box, and the column lower panel. I also installed the console, now just the front seats, belts, & door sill and the interior will be complete.
Pat

The repro console map pocket doesn’t match at the top, and a previous owner cut the back out of the original to install a stereo component. So I glued the back of the repro to the front of the original, then painted it black and used a Testors silver model marker on the trim.

Almost 2 ½ years and only a week or two left, and I was thinking it would only take about a year. Was I ever off on my timing. Good thing it wasn’t a job I bid on as I would have lost money. Did I say money, let’s not go there! No question I under estimated how difficult it is to restore any car back to the day it was new. I now have a new respect for all the original cars that at one time I thought were just a little boring, as I spent most of my time checking out the modified & custom cars. Now I can say, been there done that! The next car will be modified!
Thank You!
Pat

Anyone have or knows where to buy the two fasteners that hold the panel under the steering column? See picture!
Thanks for any help!
