I am stunned and amazed by the work you've done on your car.  The common sense and time taken to ensure every little detail was not only put back to stock, but better than stock is truly something to admire.  This thread was simply awesome!  Thanks for all the pics and info!

So where can we find the build thread for Kurts Stang?

You gonna do an original resto on the GTO, or ya gonna resto mod it.

I'll let you know when & where we start a thread for Kurt's car.

No more original cars as they take longer, hard to find NOS parts, and not as much fun! The GTO will be pro-touring driver.
Thanks!

What is the correct length for the valve stem on 72 KR rally wheels? One of my wheels looks to be original and it has a 2” valve stem, looks long but with trim rings it maybe right??
Thanks for any help!

The last of the interior work was installing the shoulder belts which the car didn’t have when I bought it. After looking at as many 70-72 T/A as I could I think I have installed them correct? Please let me know if it should be hooked differently?
Thanks!
Pat

I located the holes from pictures I had before I put the new headliner up

I’m not sure if the plastic cover should be black or blue??

pat that looks right on with how my 71 was. as for color i think you got it right but im not sure as my 71 had black interior. otherwise. measuring one valve stem i have off a wheel left from the 71 it measures 1 3/4 from the rim to the threaded part of the valve stem and 2 in to the top of the threads. hope that helps your questions some?

I hope to make it to the nats, but this weekend it will be at Norwalk!
