Title: 76 f/bird blows t/sig fuses ?

76 f/bird has blown 3 fuses and they don't last very long .Any ideas where to stat looking? Thanks

Look at the wiring for the item that is blowing, something is grounding on you with that component.

Yeah... agree with Angelo....

If it is turn signal fuse that is blowing then check all the bulb sockets and look for grounding problems, bad wire connections etc.

If gently moving various wires at various connections make bulbs flicker the issue probably is in that connection

Have you had any problem with the Hazzard fuse blowing? After the switch, they use the same run. Try lightly moving the harness for and aft along the drivers side under the sill plate. Have you ran any screws into that area? check the area where the signal harness come out of the column and check to see it is not pinched anywhere in there. The column rotates in that area and can wear through or pinch the cabling. CHeck that the fuse socket is clean (corrosion there will blow fuses).

Just some thoughts without being there.
