Which muffler
« on: October 18, 2011, 09:37:00 PM »
Right now my car has longtubes, true duals 2.5 inch, IMCO mufflers (never heard of them before) and the splitter tips. I'm just not happy with the sound. What would be a good sounding pair of mufflers I could swap mine out for. I'm not gonna be running cats and I don't want it to be terribly loud just a good sound. Thanks

Texas Trans Am mufflers. Nothing I have heard sounds as sweet as these on a 2nd gen. I have a club member that has them on his after he heard mine.

How do you get in touch with Texas Trans Am, and do you know how much they cost?
Thanks

I have been thinking a lot about this same question.  I have Pypes RacePro mufflers, have not heard them yet on my car, but already think they might be too quiet for me.  The TexasTA mufflers have an amazing sound.

Cbled56, when you get a hold of TexasTA, could you tell us how much they are?  Thanks

Chris

What cam, compression and exhaust pipe diameter, please? Very nice sound and could you post what they look like with a pic? Mike
