All in All I'm still partial to the new black SE that has never been molested. Get you a Renolds edition hat and cb whip and maybe a monkey and look out for the new bandit 4. Got to love a show with 4, 2nd gen TA'S

5.. one out in the parts area.. well 4.5 the .5 was a firebird with some good parts.
-
that was a true un touched 77 se? lost on why it has a black steering column in a tan int car being an se? i didnt know they did that...thought they were color keyed standard? lean something new all the time
-
I have been told the interior didnt have to be black to be a SE. I think there is a SE with red interior here on the forum
the only touch up on the car was a fender . the rest looked like lacquer paint.

Congrat's all , No doubt 3 Nice ride's.... ;D
-
Nice pics thanks Doug

My 77 SE originally had red cloth interior. It was ugly and I had to get rid of it :) I could handle the newer red interiors, but the 77 crushed velvet look was too much. It is still sort of/kind of a rare car though ;)

i meant shouldnt the steering column on a true y82 be the same color as the interior thats what i meant by color keyed. i know the regular trans am's had black columns unless it was color keyed. but i thought all s.e. cars came standard color keyed no matter what. im sure someone with the holy book can confirm or deny my claims
