Now the car is in pieces and I'm in the midst of installing a 12 point cage and getting ready to put this car on a diet. It will be your run of the mill, average NINE second street car. Full interior, factory glass, mufflers, street legal, with the power windows and locks. I have plans for a 535" MR-1 block, Kauffman High ports, TH-400, Dana 60, About a 200 horse shot of sauce in a 3100# car. I know it seems a bit different from what I do see on here and I do see ALOT of VERY nice cars, it's just going fast and doing it in style is what I'm going for. I've never not owned a classic Pontiac in the 26 years I've been driving and this one should be a fun build. In highschool I had a '74 TA with the awesome SD 455 motor. I remember it was a numbers match 4-speed car....Yeah, I wish I had it back too. We all have that one we want back and that one was mine...I was a kid...? I am also always on the look-out for more of a driver to enjoy when I don't want to pony up for 110 to go for a spin...I have a 69 GTO with a 474" E-headed Pontiac (Kauffman spec'd) with a full factory interior and no roll bar that runs high 10's in street trim and I want to restore that back to more of a stock look with some driving(safety) enhancements-that's why I picked up this TA, and besides, nobody in my area on the street has one that runs close to what I plan this one running...Mike
