2:67 1ST GEAR T-10

I just picked up a 78 TA W72 that a previous owner had put a turbo 350 trans in. I want to put the t10 back in it, but I would like to go with a 2.67 1st gear wide ratio instead of the standard 2:43. Anybody done this? I would like to know your reaction. It has the standard 3.42 rear end..

The 2.64 is what came stock on the Super T-10 in '78.  This is a great setup.
