Title: Need help with 79 Nose filler

I am going back and forth with someone on craigslist about the impact cushion and waffle filler for my 79 nose. That appears to be the only thing I am missing to get the nose on my car once and for all. My question is, has anyone made their own filler or reinforced the nose without using those two items?

I wouldn't. Those are designed for an impact duty rating.
