brake lite on dash

O.K. So whats the easiest way to get the brake lite out after bleeding everything?Thanks!

it's possible you didn't do something right during bleeding or the e-brake is partially pushed down. If you have a full firm brake pedal and your emergency brake pedal is all the way up then the little plastic plunger may be cocked sideways in the metal guide not allowing the spring to push the pin back out. have you checked that?

It came on while bleeding the system after the diff.swap it has to be the switch in the p/valve ,I'm sure!!

check the e-brake switch. it trips the same light.

Also, check that you haven't bumped the wire off the proportioning valve switch while bleeding and refilling.

Those switches are bad for letting the plunger cock sideways not allowing the plunger to be pushed back out far enough to turn the light off.
