Well I've been getting out of work pretty late... around 8 pm, I'm up at 4 am to go back, won't have time to piece it together until Saturday

Just busting your chops - I'm on 10 hour days this week then dropping off/picking up my son at school for the short week.  Weekends I'm either raising my son, doing housework/yardwork or helping my elderly mother.  It's a grind but I see light at the end of the tunnel ... I think it's a heart attack.  LOL.

Since I still don't have my new engine bolts for the accessories from ARP, I decided to piece together some of the engine just so I could see what it looked like. I have the paint on order so I can repaint the valley pan and paint the timing chain cover........ I have some questions though, look through where you see the freeze plug on the head on the driver side up top next to the intake, and look at the hole on the passenger side... why am I missing a freeze plug on that side?

DUDE ... I think I wet myself.

Love the polished intake - valve covers are sweet too.  Did they come with the motor purchase or'd you score those separately?

That "freeze plug" location is actually for the heater hose - you need to tap in the GM part with a socket.  No freezeplug, it's just a hose connection part.  GM had them two years back.

Oh yeah, duh... forgot about that.... Thanks..........

No, I had to score all the parts separate.
I bought the long block, EVERYTHING else I had to buy one by one

That looks great. what kind of power are you gettin with that motor. im kinda dissappointed with my car i only got 270HP to the rear wheels and 370 torque. i got her dyno tested for the first time. it was so much fun, but i want more power and don't know what to do.
