Hi guys - I'm getting close!!
It appears that when the previous owner put on new exhaust manifolds, he did not put the efe valve and actuator back on. So I think I have two questions - maybe three!! I used this chart BUT
1. I have two available lines from the air cleaner - one goes to the open nipple on the choke stove but where does the line that is literally from the far side (air inlet) of the air cleaner go? It was not connected to anything when I got the car AND it does not show up on this chart - I am not talking about the drain line from the shaker scoop.
2. What do I do with the line on the efe and egr vacuum valve that used to go to the efe valve (assuming mine is gone)? Plug/cap it?
Finally, car idles very smooth but a little fast, runs a little hot and hesitates ever so slightly in hard acceleration. I want to get the vacuum lines straight as a first step but will take advice after that. I don't want to start going nuts on a good running original motor but instead take one thing at a time.
