That's for sure. ::)

WARNING:  Use care when asking the locals about Larry.  We're not completely sure about the circumstances under which he departed the area.  There may have been girlfriends or wives of current residents involved in some manner. :o :D :D

Larry--

Far north Plano.  No, farther than that.  South of 121 but not by much.  I could throw a cow pie and hit Allen (for those not familiar with north Texas, it's a city next to Plano).

Rick--

Thanks for the heads up, but I suspected as much.   Who would move to North Dakota without negative reinforcement from the local police or an irate rancher regarding something about his daughter?  ;)

LMAO

Actually I moved from TX to NH to ND just to throw them off. ;)

I lived in W Plano for years off Custer between Plano Pkwy and 15th (when I was still living with my parents). I lived in Allen near Ford park for a few years also. My old shop was in E Plano on 14th near Jupiter. I think the street I used to "test drive" cars on is now all built up. (Summit Ave - how's that for a street to run cars on? ;) )

Larry--

Small world, hoss.  I also live off of Custer but further north.

You probably wouldn't recognize the place.  When I moved here from California, there wasn't anything between me and Oklahoma except barbed wire.  Now, it's just a sea of asphalt roofs in every direction.

With as much traffic as there is on Custer Road now, it still amazes me when late at night I hear someone on a crotch rocket with a death wish going by the house doing ninety miles an hour plus.

Happy New Year,

Tinman5

You're probably right. It's been 7 years since I've been back. Last I knew the area around Custer and Spring Creek was just being built up. I actually installed security systems in a lot of the houses in that area. Going much further north than that and Custer wasn't much more than a back road.

Oh, and that guy on the bike is probably my ex-roommate. I doubt he'll ever learn. ::)
