I don't know how many pool players are on here, but I've been pretty serious into pool for the last several years. One of the tools pool players use alot is the tip-pik. It is a cluster of sharp points that are used to perforate the surface of the cue tip to aid it in holding chalk better and slightly soften the tip for better cue ball control. A good Tip-pik usually costs around $12-$30. I got the crazy idea a couple weeks ago to start building my own Tip-piks out of Brass tubing and steel rods. Last night it occurred to me that a Bullet casing would work good. I figured out what size casing would work the best and went out and bought the materials. Here is what I came up with after about 2 hours of figuring and work. I already have a local Billiards supply wanting to buy 10 them from me next Tuesday to sell to the public. I was offered $16 each for them. What do you guys think? The tip details are hard to get since they are so small.
