Rear gear ratio???
« on: April 16, 2007, 07:10:28 PM »
Hey All, I was looking at my build sheet at the axle code and it says "2PE". This is on my 81 Formula. From what I can decifer from gary lisk's site I believe this is a 3.42 standard rear end, and since it revs at about 3 grand going 70 down the highway I do not believe it is the little 2.73 that I originally thought. I can't seem to find any rpo decoders although I know the formulasource used to have one. Can anyone confirm this for me? Thanks

I come up with the same thing you do when I check other sources (doing a web search).
