almost waveless. we put the t-top frame in to stiffen the roof.  it will be ready to prime again Fri. then 400 wet block sand it. if it looks good after that , we'll move on to the other parts. and 600 wet sand the body later with the other parts.
and I pick up the rear end Fri. also got the rear spring install kit.

What did that rear end kit set you back? Where did you get it?

I glad to know I wasn't the only one to be blessed with the era on the sunroof. The sunroof was leaking (the reason we have to replace the floor boards). The previous owner installed so much silicone on the sunroof that it wouldn't even open. My son wants to go back with a new sunroof. We will see how that works.

OK now I'm getting picky.   the body is about ready, so I thought I would prep the under side for paint.  I started  to dry sand it with 400 grit. to take the smooth off the epoxy so the paint will stick.   the frame had rust pits in it.  and the more I thought about what it would look like painted , the more it bugged me.  so now I'm filling the pits.
the paint is a Dr. jekyll mix from my paint supply place.  a base/clear and the clear is a semi gloss.

am I nuts ?

Your only nuts if you plan to drive this in winter and make a beater...then sanding the frame woud be nuts

seeing as how this will never see winter and will likely be more of a show car (I'm assuming) then a little TLC on the frame is cool, but I like and appreciate over top resto's
