My Bud's Poncho project
« on: June 08, 2008, 10:48:34 PM »
Two years and counting- now ready for final buffing and installing the interior and the final touches that go with putting a car together.  Gotta repaint the hood too- it didn't turn out so great.  Gonna be a nice black/gold T/A on the road soon!  I took these pics this afternoon.

That's really looking good....I'm sure he's glad to be that far along and anxious to get it on the road. Thanks for the pix Mike.
Anyone we know?

No one from on here, although he told me today he had found a site called 78ta ;) while cruising the net.  Roy suffers from what I did until a year ago- it is still dial-up only where he lives :-\  Roy- if you lurk on here, your car is now world-famous and on display for the world to see. :D  Congrats on the new paint!

Jeff- he was the guy that pulled up here, oh, about two trips back for you when you came to get "Ol Red.   You actually met him for a couple of minutes.

Tell Roy (assuming he's not here in person by now) that it's a nice looking car with good progress.  I also note he has the ultra-rare rear seat console toolbox option! :D :D

Yeah, I recall that...he left shortly after I arrived and Rick and Milly arrived later that same day. He seemed like a really nice guy.

Roy,

I also had to re-paint my hood again twice.  Sometimes you just have to do it over.
What's under the hood??
