Title: 1978 Trans Am Restoration starting
Post by: steve78ta on May 13, 2012, 09:41:16 AM: Starting a resto ,its a all original,heavily optioned 78TA. Some of the options are,403 olds,power windows,locks and trunk popper,T-Tops,A/C, deluxe interior,decor package,automatic tranny.Came with Ralley2 wheels. Floor rot,small amount of body rot,none on the rear half. Floor pans will be going in soon and all body work done within a month. All interior will be new or redone,going back with stock suspension,replacing all bushings and of course cleaning and painting underside. This will be a driver to enjoy so I really do not want to go back with the gold..I love the black,guess that will be the only thing not original to the car. I have a link to photobucket to see the car as it progresses. Looking forward to this journey!

Hummmmm---- '78 Solar Gold just happens to be one of my favorite colors. Not the same as the '79.

Not many of us have just 1 Trans Am :) they seem to be magnetic.
