If there is a popular car, there's probably a forum for it.....do a "google search".

right could be the difference is the turn signal lens size and location. i just cannot find it in my heart to even consider keeping the chevelle rather i will part it out and make extra $$ for the tata funding

The tail lights are different and the 1968's are alot less popular vs the 1970 and 1969 so I would say $1750.00
Projects
1965 Riviara
1970 SS 396 Chevelle 4-speed
1970 Camaro z-28 4-speed
1973 t/a 455 4-speed
1976 Trans am Hugger orange
1977 S/E 4-speed
1977 Trans am
1977 Camaro z-28 4-speed
1978  w72 4-speed
1979 Trans Am 301 4-speed

All numbers match

Other than T/A's, i'm a Chevelle guru. my family has owned 8 Chevelles over the years. if you ever have any questions about them, feel free to PM me with anything. i have 3 Chevelles in my garage currently. (my T/A is sitting right next to them)
the 69 Chevelle and 68 have a few differences. the dashboard and some other interior parts are different. the 68 has vent windows, 69 does not. also the front grilles, bumpers, and tail lights are different. Super Sports are worth a ton, even in junk condition. here's a post of mine that you might like:  http://www.78ta.com/smf/index.php?topic=12092.0
