Back when I was in my band, we recorded some acoustic tracks with my Celebrity and my guitar player's Ovation Balladeer. They sound great live, plugged in, and apparently, on recordings too! Mine was pretty cheap, too. It was $225 back a few years ago lightly used.

And I highly reccomend the PODs. They sound great, are expandable with downloadable tones, and have a thriving online community that creates and shares tones and presets for free.

This is like 1973 when it was called Jr High school. Had a massive budget for music...lol My one brown stick was from a Ted Nugent concert that was tossed into the crowd. I caught it.

I just made these. Not the CZX snare. Had a stroke so I haven't finished them yet. Still sound great. Paiste signature cymbals.

WOW,  Love the hat. Reminds me of Boy Scout Band around the same time. I dont play much anymore but still have a set.

I gave up dotting the I to go to med school. Still debating that decision 20 years later.
