Topic: block code above engine prodution number is this wrong

is the block code always below engine production number or has anyone got one with it above production numbers  or an engine with only a block code and no numbers

I have personally seen the vin number above the block code below the block code and down next to the waterpump low on the front of the block this is where it usually hangs out and is usually a lite stamp that is hard to read..
