Post by: lee01 on May 21, 2014, 08:29:52 AM
A local friend have a 79 T/A for sale.
No power window, no door lock, no AC
301 4 speed manual, t-top, black interior.
Its a clone.
Its pretty clean, little tlc, but very solid car.
What would you value his car?

If it's the original moter and tranny it looks to only be 1 of 1530 built in 79' which I think makes it harder to value. 301 not so good but the 4 speed standard helps. I think the added SE gold helps a lot. The low options takes away a little but real T/A fans wouldn't let that bother them. I would put it between $6000 and $12000 depending on mileage, paint, interior, and the market in your location.

Did you get the PHS or look for the hidden build sheets? Missing gold accents doesn't nessarly make it a clone.  If it was a real SE 301 4 speed that would make it really rare.
