Fishing
« on: October 29, 2011, 06:22:51 PM »
I'm bored and stuck inside due to it snowing.....oh wait...no that would have been me had I not moved. Anyway,I thought I would share a hobby of mine with you all. I really enjoy fishing. I take it very serious. I have been fishing since I was 3years old. The King Salmon are making their way up the rivers and I'm doing my best to fill the freezer with fillets and cupboard with bags of smoked salmon. Anyone near me want to join feel free. Here are a few of my catches so far.

Nice 4lb Steelhead

One thing I love about living in Louisiana is my house is 20 minutes away from either salt or fresh water. I caught this drum early this spring, about 35 lbs. Not any good for eating, but funner than hell to reel in.

cool. Pics guys. Striper season is HOT right now also in the Feather River. There are a lot being pulled out in the 30-40lb range. Less then a miles from my house there was a 48 pounder pulled out. I have to get into the action. Keep the pictures coming.

I hear sturgeon are a ton of fun. I was watching a guy fight one about 7 years ago and I went home after 3 hours. LOL It looked like he was trying to pull a car in. I don't know if he ever got it in.
