Hello! There are serial numbers engraved on the chassis of my trans am 78?

The only places you will find the VIN (serial) numbers is in 4 places. First will be on the dash visible through the windshield. Second will be on the Firewall located behind the blower motor. The third will be on the front of the engine, and last but not least will be stamped on the transmission. Those are the only 4 locations the VIN number will be stamped for the second generation Trans Am.
