White headliner
« on: April 01, 2011, 10:19:02 AM »
(Hopefully) Within a month I will be replacing my white headliner with a black one because my entire interior is undergoing some final changes.

All parts of the headliner that are visible with the trim on is in good condition, I should be able to get photos up this weekend if anyone is interested.  At the moment it is on my 1978 Trans Am with Fisher Style T-Tops.

I would like to arrange this now because I when I order mine I will have a good box to turn around and ship mine out in.

If the headliner is in over all good condition when the trim pieces are off I am looking for about $125 shipped.

Are all the white headliner trim pieces in good shape? What all will be included? The 4 trim pieces, the upper sail panels, the headliner itself? The sunvisors? I need to buy all those pieces within the next two weeks so please get back to me.

Oh poo. I didnt read carefully! Yours has t-tops. So, I'd be interested in upper sail panels and front and rear metal headliner trim pieces. As well as the A-pillar and sunvisors if they are for sale.

I'm basically looking for any and all white interior pieces in great shape.

What I will have will just be the headliner and the sunvisors.  The visors do show their age a little bit.

I am keeping the sail panels, seatbelt panels, u pieces, y pieces, t-top trim; basically everything except the pillar panels.
Trying my hand at dyeing those to save myself some money.

Well that works, I think I can do both pillar panels for $45 shipped, and possibly throw in the sunvisors included or a little more depending on whether you just need the visor itself or the assembly they come attached too?  That could be a dilemma for me, never noticed till now how pricey visors are.

You sure you are getting a box when your new headliner arives?  All the new ones I have seen lately are rolled-up ABS and come in a tube.  Not shipping-friendly for a OE headliner board.

Ah I didn't know that.  I am going to purchase it from the hitman here, thought I read it came in a box, could be wrong though.

Sorry I didn't get to it this weekend.  Didn't have any money for the car so I didn't go work on it.
