What is the proper black paint for the grill insert? Is it satin finish like the SE mounding trim.

I have a 76 TA and looking to restore my grills.  The chrome around the edge is flaked off the plastic.  Does yours have this and/or how do you plan to restore that part?

Just go to eBay and order a brand new set for $150. Comes with all screws and all. And double sided tape. Aftermarket fits just as good as OG. My 79 is currently being restored and I will be buying a set for mine.

Your car is a 79, so don't go to ebay and simply buy grilles for 1976, they do not exist. That is why people are spending money trying to patch up used and broken pieces, because they have to.
