Any one ever use this. How would this look sticking out of the shaker hole. My shaker is not going to fit any way. Any comments?

Someone here in my area has one on a Firebird that they put a T/A hood on. It actually links to the throttle some way and opens as they give it gas. I think it is pretty cool. It has an air filter underneath the scoop.

It looks a lot like that, only his car is a red '76. He has to remove a wing bolt, I think, to pull the flapper off before he can open his hood. It's easy and fast- I don't think it takes any tools to remove it.

My honest opnion is im not crazy about it. idk it just doesn't flow with the car. Perhaps im just use to it being higher up connected to a super charger

To each thier own. but the car in the picture doesnt look too bad with it. The side pipes and wheels I think help set the whole car.

You do realize, of course, that trying to answer that question falls into the same category as trying to answer your wife when she asks "Do these jeans make me look fat?".

I've never cared for them sitting up so high without a blower under them. But IMO they look better with a scoop (like an L-88 style) to raise the level of the hood a little then having the Street Scoop coming up through that. I think that helps with the line.

I didn't think I would, but I really like it. It would also help with a lot of clearance issues for aftermarket intakes.

Don't like it at all to be honest. Sidepipes look bad too but the rims are cool. The sidepipes just look kinda trashy in my opinion. Find a new shaker that will work 1FSTLS1 and you'll be in business...

A hood scoop. an L-88 scoop is a cowl type scoop from 'vettes in the '70s.
IMO it would help blend the Street Scoop into the hood better.
