Title: Rear end issues on 78 TA

The rear end that is my TA has 390 ratio locked posi.  The pumpkin had been twisted free from axle tubes, its a mess.  Question I have is are all 71-81 Camaro rear ends interchangeable with my Firebird mounting wise?  Many more of them laying around, but till tough to find posi.

Yes, they are interchangeable

Thanks Jeff, the more I read sometimes the more I can get crossways.  The rear end hunt is on!

Be aware that many of the Camaro units are not factory LSD, but...many of the aftermarket LSD gearsets are to work with the non-LSD centres. Always looking after the Chev guys.
