'76 trans Am
« on: April 26, 2011, 11:24:50 AM »
My mom and I bought this car for my dad for his 60th bday. He had a black 76 when I was a kid. He has no idea and we are giving it to him on fathers day.

Well initially we were planning on buying one that needed some restoration work. We were having trouble finding a 76 much less one that was running and not rotting away somewhere. I just happened to stumble across this one on allofcraigs.com and it happened to be in Marietta GA for only a couple thousand more than we were looking at spending on an unrestored one. It was unbelievable. I'll post some more pics in a minute. My dad is the type guy I've watched put everybody else before himself my entire life (including sell his trans am when he and my mom were married to buy her a house, this is her helping repay him for that lol). SO it thrills me to no end to be able to give him this car. Back to my original point, His birthday isint until November.....well there's no way we can sit on this car for seven months! So he's gonna get it as a joint fathers day/60th bday present lol. I'll def post a video when we give it to him
