Would what? The 455 is taller as well as wider. That's why the only intake that will allow the shaker to fit without modification or a drop base is the stock Toro intake. The Toro intake is lower.

C heads are one of the rarest, good solid heads, very sought after, thats a pretty decent price, but try to get a little lower, I paid 240 for redone heads the block and crank with machine work done a th 350 and aluminum pistons

C heads used to be more easily found. But also as he said, are very popular so are getting harder to find. Find out if they've had the seats replaced. They were originally soft valve seats for use with leaded fuel.

how would one know if an intake was from a Toronado?  ARe there any designations on it?  What is the height of the intake as opposed to one off another car?

How well would a 425 olds fit?  Is it the same block size as a 455?   A friend of my has one sitting in his shop.

the cranks are different bore size is different, lifter size is different and so is angle of the heads. It is a stonger engine
