Hi Hitman, Thanks for the installed pictures. Those wheels look great after you worked them over! I have a 78 Trans WS6 w/stock suspension height. I just purchased a set of the Year One 17X9 snowflakes and have ordered a set of  Kumho 255/50R17s from Tire Rack. I'm having them hold the tire order until I get someone with prior knowledge to verify that this would fit my application. (I think I will be fine). At this time I am not planning on lowering the vehicle and that is the reason I wanted the higher profile tire. Did you have any tire rub with the 255/50R17s under any conditions on your T/A ?

mine is gonna be lowered with the new suspension, but my wheels will be differant. these cars sat up way to high in my opinion and need to be lowered a little bit.

$2000.00 yeah that's why I'll be using the 15" snowflakes, although I'd like to find an 8" version.

I also really like the 16" GTA diamond spoke wheels that I might try and find some time as well

But... for now 7" snowflakes 78 - 79 version or the  80-81 version is yet to be decided.

aftermarket will be the same. once you get the tires & nuts.  unless you go cheap, and the wheels only last a few years.

The wheels are $750 and you can get good center caps and lugnuts for $100. So, that's just $850 + shipping. If you have snowflake lugnuts already, then you save about $50 off of that. That combo price for wheels + lugnuts and caps at Year One is way overpriced.

Then the rest just depends on how much you spend for tires. I see Fusions in 255-50-17's at $128 each, so with installation and balancing you might get away with $600 in tires.

So, I think you could get it all for about $1500.

Wow ok thanks Steve. that seems a bit better! im stuck on a bit of a budget so i have to do bits at a time. like maybe all the wheels than the rest of the wheel set up later than the tires last lol.
