Seat belt guides

What's the trick to removing the seat belt guides on a 79 TA.  I need to remove them one more time and don't want to break any more.

Get a small tool like a centerpunch or awl.... push down (or up) on the seat belt guide and use the awl to pull the top half (or bottom half if you are pushing down) and the it should pop out without breaking it.
