Is is true that the rear spoiler is the same for 1974-81?

The middle part is the same for all years. The end pieces are the same from 70-78 and then they changed to the 79-81 style.

78-81 will fit on older cars- it wraps around more on bottom side edges and the inner bolt is in a different place. just put a set from a 80 firebird on my 77 today. may not be orignal but I like the rubber/plastic/urathane(whatever) better than the fiberglass.mc

Thanks Brett. I've always thought the "early" spoilers look better, but I've never taken the time to compare them side-by-side. It never occurred to me how different they are.
