Topic: Fisher Time Date Codes (Cowl Tag)

Hi, I was wondering if anybody out there has a way of deciphering Fisher Time Date Codes on cowl tags (1979 Trans AM)? I have seen several posts about it with answers to specific numbers, but have not seen any kind of logic behind what the numbers mean. Like, 720244 supposedly is 4th week of May assembly. Is there a specific time of day included as well? Thanks

Maybe this little write up will help.  From what I can tell, I don't think the date code goes down to a specific time of day, much less the day of the week.  Only the month and the week.  Hope this helps...
