Transmission question
« on: September 28, 2010, 07:10:14 PM »
Hello- pickng up a 73 formula in december, it has a 400 and a 3-speed manual- just wondering if the trans could be the original- everywhere I have looked it hasn't specified if these cars came/didn't come with a 3 speed manual.
Thanks

Hello, apparently the car DOES have a 4-speed- it just has a 3 speed stick shift knob. Is it normal to have the reverse gear in the upper left of the shift pattern? (73 Formula, 400)

Thanks for info- I moved up the pick-up time and will get it on the 23rd of this month. The picture with my forum name is the actual car, but I will take numerous pics when I get it home and post.
