Hi I seen this y88 for sale,,,, what do you guys think??????? Sorry I don't know why the pics are not up loading.....It looks Ok form the pics.....................


I have a Y88 (Gold Special Edition) Trans Am for sale. I have PHS documents to prove it is 1 of 1267 Y88 4-speed T/A's. It has the WS6 suspension and a 1977 W72 motor (non numbers matching). It does run and drive very well. The paint is decent to be old. The outer body does not have any rust, none. It does need floor boards, rear frame rails and the rear tail panel. The interior needs to be restored, but it does have a great dash and console. There is a dent on the top of the right front fender and two dents between the windshield and t-tops. I have installed an new gas tank, rebuilt the carb and gave it a good tune-up. So, it does run good. The entire underbody has been sand blasted and epoxy primed. I have an extra shaker hood and another 78 front nose.

I will take $5500.00 (firm) for this car this weekend

I THINK THATS A GOOD BIT FOR A CAR THAT NEEDS FRAME RAILS AND FLOORS, AND ALSO THE OUTER BODY MOST LIKLY ISNT THAT NICE IF YOU SAND THE PAINT OFF ,

Eunan, that's a lot of rust to fix.  You know how I feel about that!  The frame rails scare me a little.  And, why this one when there's matching number cars out there?....Oh, it's a four speed.....That's why you're interested.

I think the Y88 you have is better than this one.

i wouldnt believe that this car is need of that much but i guess it could be. it does look nice in a picture though.

My question is why would someone sand blast and epoxy coat the under body knowing the car needed floor pans and rails?????...........later..........
