Let me tell you what Melba Toast is packin' right here, all right. We got 4:11 Positrac outback, 750 double pumper, Edelbrock intake, bored over 30, 11 to 1 pop-up pistons, turbo-jet 390 horsepower. We're talkin' some muscle.

I saw a huge gaggle of Canada geese just Saturday -- generally, I see them flocking up like that in November.

I don't do any waterfowel hunting, even though the area I live in seems to be pretty good for it. But I got this guy with a bow while hunting public land in Kansas this fall. I also got a decent 7pt in PA this year with a bow but I don't have any pics of that one.

Not sure exactly. I'd say around 170lbs. Took me about 3 hours dragging him out of the woods by myself. I could only pull him about 15 yards at a time. What a work out!

Joe -- exactly which part of the process is the bench grinder used for?  Aren't the pieces coming off it a little fine for summer sausage? ??? ???

Thanks guys. It was hard to transition into the hunting mode this fall after picking up my TA in September. Just didn't want to put down my wrenches to pick up the bow.

Hey 784mula, no shame with that buck. Any deer's a trophy in my book, especially in state with as much hunting pressure as Michigan. Hopefully the road kill wasn't had with the Firebird!

Bought a bow last month after not going out the last 4 years and selling old one. Been shooting in the yard with my 16yr old son. Treestand is coming today from Santa Shar. Looking forward to hittin the woods next fall again. Nothing more peaceful then 20 feet up in a tree in the woods, waiting.
