$2000 1980 WS6 Trans Am
« on: September 23, 2009, 11:36:19 PM »
This has been listed on here, I just thought I'd list it with an obvious price, I just want $2500 OBO

This is a 1980 WS6 Trans Am that is in amazing condition. Very little rust, and is mostly on the hood, and Drivers side fender. Trunk, floors, and the body is solid.
However it does have some spots (see picture) on the trunk lid. It still has the ground effects, and the rear bumper doesn't seem to have any warping. The front bumper seems to have been bumped (no damage to either of the fenders). I was told this car is a numbers matching car which has the numbers matching 301 that has been built, and turns the tires nicely, the idle is a little high on it, but seems like a strong engine. The car seems to have all the options; Power locks, power windows, power trunk release, TTops, rear defrost, 4 wheel disc, cruise control, 301, Tilt wheel, 15x8 WS6 rims, Space saver tire, air conditioning that even blows cold still. The power locks, and the power windows will need the wires soldered back together because the last owner cut out the power window switch in an attempt to put a newer switch in, I did get an original switch to replace that, and the power lock switch on the passenger side was cut because they wanted to carefully remove the door panel, but the driver side had the wires break free. Brakes need some attention, driver side caliper needs a rebuild, other side needs the line put on. They key broke in the ignition, but the car can still be easily started. The whole car is in great shape the paint even shines still. Everything on the car works, even the warning lights on the dash turn on when you turn the car on, power steering works great, has good acceleration. Tires look brand new with all the studs on them still, I’d say 95% tred, and windshield has been cracked. Car has a new muffler, and another mechanism for the glove box. I also have both of the TTop bags.

Feel free to call, or text me any time, email also works. 801-791-0660 Colton

That's good, you might come in handy if I want to buy that car.  I was thinking it would be great for a T/A or Formula clone.  I have a ton of 350 parts so that could be a sweet machine
