HI Everyone
Was a blast and a half to meet so many people from here,TAC and All Gen...just makes it that more personal from now on when we do our posts ;D
Jeff,Joe and Andrew you wont meet a nicer bunch of people 8)

Quick update on the trip, we left Dayton on Monday morning and headed to Chicago, we dropped in at the brickyard at Indiannapolis for a tour (but the track was closed due to a bike race on the weekend)  :(
We drove into Chicago and quickly discovered how expensive parking was 27.00 for 2 hours!! Had a quick look at the sites, and then found the start of route 66 and headed out of chicago to look for accomodation.. stayed at a place near Indianhead way - it was cheap... and we paid for it.   :o :o - we barely got any sleep due to bad bed, smelly place, loud airconditioning that made noise but no cool air and a weird neighbourhood.  We got up early and got out of there....but it still didnt stop us enjoying the day heading along route 66 - made it to springfield to a nice hotel with internet, but we zonked out early.  Heading off to St Louis MO today - so we hope to post pics tonight ;D

mal and kaz, great to meet the both of you at the nats, and great to find other fans of brown ta.'s.  kaz, glad to give you a lift to tipp city in my ta.  the two of you are seeing more of the great usa in 5 weeks then most see in a lifetime, and it is very refreshing to see how much you are enjoying it and the people you meet.  keep in touch and hopefully our paths will cross again.

I'll post more pics when we get back home 8)
Saw this at our next stop

before checking out a route 66 icon... yer i know its round

then grabbing a soft drink or two

before hitting the super slab for a detour off the mother road to Fort Worth Texas

which is where we will be for the next couple of days ;D

Andrew when we last spoke to Bealy and Barry I think they had bought 5 between them - some cars were just great deals... no doubt they probably bought a few more, I guess we will find out in October.    As to getting u something.. a bit fat NOTHING.. lol.. we got you the radio knobs.  We are on a tshirt buying ban..we have bought too many - we had to buy another suitcase and Mal is saying we have to buy another one soon.. mmmm we will see.  Having such a great time..
