14 x 6 snow flakes ???
« on: July 09, 2012, 03:27:07 PM »
Saw this auction for 14 X 6 snowflakes. Did these really come on a Firebird or were they just used on the Sunbird or Firenza etc?

No 14x6 rims on a Firebird that I've heard of. I do know the snowflakes were available on just about any Pontiac model in 77 so I'd guess they were from a different car and were put on the T/A they go them off of some time in the past.

IIRC Sunbirds had 4-lug flakes.  Those are 5 lug.  Grand Prix, LeMans, even the Pontiac station wagons could be had with the 5-hole 14" snowflake wheels.  I've had a couple sets of them myself through the years.

Thanks guys. I'm a little more Pontiac smarter now. Or a little less dumber. Either way......
