Yeah, I also am aware that the passenger side is a '77 and the driver's side is a '78. Who knows how that happened...

Here's a few pics of how I restored the driver's side "Pontiac" script.

Very nice work!  Did you just strip off the paint to get the Pontiac letters to look like that?

Yep. I ran across 1000 grit sandpaper til they showed through.
