~~~IT'S FIXED!!!!~~~
« on: February 20, 2010, 09:37:37 PM »
Update:  No it's not   :-\
The tranny does NOT slip!!  WooHoo!
Frank rerouted the shift cable that the shop messed up and they put the clip in the wrong place.  The cable was pinched up with the speedometor cable.
The front sway bar bushings and brackets have been changed out.
New air shocks are installed!
This was done all today!  A big round of appalause to FRANK!!  YEEPIIEEE!
Just got back from a run, and it feels great!  Took it on the interstate too!  Purred like a kitten UNTIL I stomped on it!  Scared the crap out of me :o.  Actually pushed me into my seat! lol
Congrats Heidi!!!
Aren't you glad you didn't give up?? ;D
I wasn't going to give up on her.  If this didn't work, I was going to take a break from it and think long and hard on what to do next.   I have FAITH in Frank and his abilities to work on this car.
I am one lucky woman to have him!!
Glad you got it fixed! Wasn't looking good there for a little while. Sounds like you are getting a bit more comfortable driving it as well!
I'm super jealous were able to drive your car today! Mine got to move out of the garage to test the MSD ignition I installed yesterday, and then it moved right back in :(. Roads are just a mess up here.
Unfortunately, it just proves the old adage: If you want something done right you got to do it yourself.
