Well, I washed the car today, and more paint came off!!  I washed it ever so gently.
I even used the shower spray on the nozzle to gently remove the soap!

I am NOT washing it until after the Bandit Run.

My luck as I go down the highway going 50+ mph, more paint is going to fly off!!

Not a happy camper here! :'(

sorry to hear that.  that would really make me mad. try putting some wax on it maybe? it might hold the paint on better cuz it will put a case over it.  idk just dont rub to to hard.

Ummm -- you weren't supposed to use that exfoliating soap you got for Christmas on the car...

Maybe some nailpolish will fix it?

There we go!  I was waiting for someone to make a goofy comment!  You know what?  Clear nail polish might just work!!

Can you show a picture of the chipping?
I would like to see it.

I drive mine on a 2 lane road and get stone chips in the driver side when trucks pass.
But I restored to to drive it.
The fender flares are chipping too.

I'll have to take pictures of it, but CONRAD gave me a great idea! ( He was joking though)  Gray nail polish and then put clear over it!  It would be temporary, and may help it not to spred!!
I think I will try that in a spot that you can't see!!

THANKS RAD!!

I was really kidding about the nailpolish.  If it's bondo underneath, the cracks will propogate due to weather extremes and/or vibration.  The repair was not done adequately ... it may have too much bondo in the localized area.  The dent wasn't addressed or there is rust underneath.  Either way, nailpolish is a cosmetic fix at best ... like a push-up bra.  :)

Leave it to Heide to use nail polish to fix chipping paint. To hold it like a push up bra.  ;)
