It means you have a '79 Trans Am with a 403 built in Van Nuys.

(And don't be surprised when it decodes as a Firebird and not a Trans Am. They all do. ;) )
But for the most info on your car you will need either the build sheet (which can only be found hidden in your car if it still exists) or the PHS documents for it. http://www.phs-online.com
