which year oldsmobiles didnt have the cross over pipe

sick of my leaky exhaust and wanna order a ss exhaust kit but there all dual exhaust kits so i need to elimate the cross over without  killing my bank account my questin is is there a factory right side manifold without cross over? i believe there are but cant find any,

I'd think Olds made em. But its really simple and cheap to have a muffler shop put a stub out on your manifold.

I'd use 1/4" plate steel to cap it off.

just bought a cast cap made for passenger side off e-bay. around 40 bucks. they also have them from year one, but it was on back order and is not as heavy of a cap as the one i bought. think it came from "the parts place" e-bay store. lots of good resto parts from these folks.

you do not use a gasket at all with the cap that i bought. it is tapered to fit. very heavy block off plate. it is an exact repro of the one gm made for the cutlass back in the day when they would put duals on them from the factory, and used stock manifolds. did not know if you question was for me or not??

79-84 front wheel drive cars from toranado to lesabre. The manifolds have a #12 on them

was thinking of that but thats also the manifold i cant get to seal no how , on my third dounout gasket ,and the exhaust leak sounds like crap
