Topic: Pace car decal info needed

Question is concerning my TATA. I really like the daytona pace car decal set.i have read many things on this forum explaining that they were a dealer option and so forth. Question is, if i were to put them on my 403 auto car, would i be wrong? Should they only be on the 4 speed cars? I just dont want to do something and look dumb. Pace cars always stood out to me.

They could go on either car, 400 or 403

i thought the 79s were indys and 80/81s were daytona...didnt think the motor mattered

They were daytona. Pheonix graphics has the kit. I realize that they are just decals and can be removed with no harm. I just really needed some input from the people on this forum. I have learned a LOT from here about my car and used many tips. 78ta is bookmarked on my front page of my iphone. Thanks

The 1980 Pace Car was the only one that went to both, Indy 500 and Daytona.

These ones are 403, its a bit much for me but I was never really a fan of the TATA either. And the giant windscreen decal screams ricer.
