Homer, You might also have someone follow you and watch your rear wheel. You may have a bent axle.

this sounds like the same issue i have had since day one , and still never resolved, my car was nut and bolt restored everything new , i checked everything , balanced everything, swaped out driveshafts even swaped out a new rear end to test ,  viberates around 60-70 , more of a shimmy though

before you do that see if a local shop has a roadforce balancer and tell them when it shimmy's a roadforce will balance the tire with the same amount of force as your car ie... 3k pounds or whatever

Homer, One other thought. Take it to a truckstop that installs steer tires. They will have a machine that butts up against the tire while its jacked up and mounted on car. It will spin it at highway speeds and balance everything rotating at the same time. So it will balance the tire, wheel, lug nuts, rotor/drum and if on the rear your axle. It will balance all as a whole anything that spins with that tire. May find your problem. Just remember if you ever have a flat to mark the position so you reinstall tire/wheel in same position.

LMAO really though the new technology Roadforce is great but expensive and not many shops have one and the techs hate using it as it is time consuming

yea, theres nothing like that around here ( i live in the sticks lol) when i balanced them i did it with the trim rings on thought maybe that would help but no, usually when a tire is bad you can tell by the amount of weight needed they took a normal amount though
